Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Snapchat Stickers. So i’ve been working with Snapchat since mid September 2016 and after creating  70 stickers/geo-filters for Snapchat’s French speaking audience, which you can see here, I was then tasked with creating 111 stickers/geo-filters for Snapchat Australia.

I’m really enjoying working for Snapchat and I absolutely love illustrating these stickers. They are so much and they literally tell me they want “x” illustrating and I have almost free reign to do whatever I want. For this article I create a load of stickers/geo-filters for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and they were a lot of fun to create. I had to watch videos of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and visit websites for the restaurants that take part.

Research is always such a key aspect of all the work I do and after doing my research for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, I can confirm one thing for sure; Melbourne has so many amazing restaurants and food. I would love to visit Melbourne (and Australia for that matter) just to try some of the food as it looks so delicious.

For example, I found a cafe called Dosage Cafe. They serve a lot of their food, drinks and sauces in chemical lab measuring jugs, cups and syringes. I think that’s super cool and cute. I’ve put this cafe in my “must visit location of Melbourne list”. You can have a look of their Instagram page for more photos of their unique food presentations!

If you followed my works you know I’ve illustrated a lot of food illustrations, so I’m really enjoy and happy to illustrate these food stickers. But the big problem of illustrate food is you’re always hungry from looking at the reference photos.
