A great example of making connections in the industry, several years ago my husband did some work for Deliveroo and one of the restaurants he did some work for was Bread Meats Bread. The Operations Director at BMB (to abbreviate it) discovered I was an illustrator, loved my work and asked me to create a series of illustrations for their brand new children’s menu. This was really well received so when the owners of BMB decided to open a new kebab restaurant called Babs I was called back in again.

Babs Glasgow

Babs Glasgow is the second of two illustrated menu’s I created illustrations for but the most recent (hence being on top). Seriously if you like kebabs or even good for that matter, go visit them. The food is incredible! It took us months to finally visit Babs after they opened but meeting them to go over the menu gave us the perfect chance to try their food and to also take lots of reference photos. We’ve been twice now and each time was wow.

Bread Meats Bread

The first children’s menu I illustrated was for Bread Meats Bread but as of writing this I can’t find the final menu but it does look great. Bread Meats Bread is one of the most popular burger restaurants in Glasgow and rightfully so, the burgers are absolutely delicious (you must try a Luther Burger). This menu was a lot of fun to illustrate.
