Thailand is my number one favourite country so I had to create this Thailand map illustration. I’ve visited Thailand twice, once in my early twenties and then Christmas/New Year 2018. I absolutely love everything about Thailand, I love the culture, the people are super friendly, the food is amazing, the weather perfect for me, I love everything about it.
Both times I’ve visited I’ve felt really welcome and similar to my home country, Taiwan, in Thailand, especially in the big cities like Bangkok, there’s always something to do. One of the things I miss most about Taiwan is the weekend and night markets, Taipei is full of them and Thailand is just the same. In Bangkok you have the most incredible night markets and weekend markets where you can buy all kinds of things and eat the most amazing foods.
Take for example Chiang Mai. In Chiang Mai we spent a day with elephants, went on a night time wildlife safari trip and then we went to the night markets where my daughter Amelia had the most delicious lasagne and Chris and I had lots of bbq meat skewers and other things to eat. Everything was clean, delicious and very very cheap.
This Taiwan map is both a collection of my favourite memories and places I would love to travel to in the future. If it were possible I would instantly move there with my family and may even do so in a couple of years. Some of these favourite places include Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai,, Phuket, the Gulf of Thailand and many major cities.
As with all of my maps, this is all about having lots of fun things and please remember this map is about Thailand only. Some items may overlap into other countries (and I’ve received some very abusive messages about this) but there will be some overlap to include everything. At the time of creating this map and sharing it here we’re still effectively locked down with the Covid-19 pandemic but when it all clears we’ll definitely go back to Thailand again.
This Thailand map is available in both a poster version and will be available soon in a postcard version. You can buy the poster version now through the following link and once the postcard is available I’ll update this post.
This map is offered in a few different sizes and everything is printed on premium, high quality photo papers. I’ve placed an order for new postcards which will come at a later date. Hope you like!
