Map No. 55 — Kyoto Map 🍵🌸
My 55th map illustration is finally here, and it feels extra special. Kyoto has always lived in my mind as a place filled with soft sakura blossoms and a deep, calming tea culture… so I wanted this piece to capture both.
You’ll find gentle shades of matcha green paired with dreamy sakura pink — a little love letter to spring in Japan.
And this time, there’s a twist 🐾
Instead of people, I’ve filled the map with little kitty characters from my new brand Moggy Mansions (@moggymansions). I’m slowly building a kawaii world where these cats can explore beautiful places together… starting with Kyoto.
I hope this map brings you a moment of calm and a touch of spring wherever you are 💕

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Ikigai Sakura Celebration @ikigai.uk @ikigaieventsuk 🌸✨
We absolutely love this event, and we’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who came to visit us and support our little corner. It truly means the world to us 💛
Our very first customer of the weekend made it even more special — he was the organiser’s grandpa, such a sweet gentleman, and (wonderfully!) he’s Finnish 🇫🇮 He chose one of our A4 Finland map prints, which felt like such a meaningful and perfect start to the event 🥹
The venue itself was so beautiful — truly the perfect setting for such a special celebration.
You could really feel how much thought and care had gone into every detail, and it made the whole experience even more magical. Everyone could see how much effort the organisers poured into this event.
A special thank you to the amazing organisers — your hospitality did not go unnoticed. From having water ready on the tables to the lovely helpers checking in on us throughout the day, those thoughtful little gestures made the whole experience feel so warm and special.
We also had some lovely chats with customers about how they discovered the event, and it was so inspiring to hear how much effort went into promoting it — even sending brochures directly to people’s homes!
That level of care and dedication really shows, and it’s what makes this event so memorable.
And of course, thank you to all the friendly vendor neighbours — it was such a joy sharing the weekend with you all. The atmosphere was just incredible ✨
We had such an amazing time and would absolutely love to come back again if the organisers will have us 💕
Now it’s back to the studio for us — we’ll be busy creating more delicious, kawaii, and functional goodies for you all! 🍡🐾
