Shanghai is an incredible city — lively, busy, modern, and beautifully mixed with its glamorous ancient past. And of course… all the yummy food! 🥟🍜

I create maps because I love drawing them—I’m an illustrator, not a cartographer 😆

Exciting Rebrand – Moggy Mansions!

Big news – Liv Wan Illustration is now “Moggy Mansions”, our new family brand 💛

For over a decade, I’ve been running Liv Wan Illustration, trading at conventions and markets.
Chris makes most products, Amelia helps a lot, and I focus on design & illustration. I don’t just draw maps—I also create super cute stationery collections!

We’re still sorting out the website, so you can still order through Liv Wan Illustration for now.
Some items might show the new Moggy Mansions branding, and some still have the old logo—but everything will switch over soon.

What’s next?

Lots of new products, and our subscription box is coming soon 🎁

I’ve added a few older posts too — it’s really nice to see how much I’ve grown over the years.
A little life update 💫

I’ve been very quiet this month — Christmas season plus being ill for nearly three weeks kept me in bed. 

I’m still recovering, but I finally made it out today and wanted to give you an update. I even had to miss my last Christmas market, but Chris and Amelia stepped in so we could still finish all our markets 🥹❤️
Because of everything, I’ll be sharing a big announcement soon about how my business will change in 2026. A little hint: my whole family is building something together, and it’s going to be exciting ✨

2025 has been a year of learning and growth for me — meeting new faces, trying new things, and discovering more about myself. I love my job, my family, Tiny 🐾… but I’ve realised I need to slow down a bit and focus on balance.

From 2026, I’ll be putting more focus into my retail business while still keeping my love for children’s books alive. I’ve missed creating things fully in my own voice and sharing them with you, and seeing people light up, smile, and get excited the second they see my work — those moments truly make my heart sing 💛

New maps, new collections, and a new chapter are coming in 2026. I’m so grateful for your support, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you ✨

Today I saw my books in T.G. Jones for the first time — my first sighting in a UK bookshop! Even more surreal: they were sitting right next to Stanley Tucci’s books. He’s one of my all-time favourite actors. A surreal moment!

Hyper Japan Manchester – complete! 🎌

What a fun weekend! It ended up feeling like a mini London traders’ reunion—I laughed so much catching up with my London stall friends 😆
I also met some amazing Manchester traders and it was wonderful to see both familiar faces and new customers!

Even my daughter said, “Mum, I can’t believe you actually have friends!” 😆

Market friends bought food and drinks for us every day—normally I don’t have time to socialise in London, so I really cherished these warm moments 💛

I never imagined my life would revolve around conventions, but I’m so glad it does 😊 Everyone was so kind, warm, and welcoming!

連我女兒都驚呼：「媽，我真的不敢相信你居然有朋友！」
市場的朋友每天都貼心幫我們買吃的喝的，平常在倫敦根本沒時間社交，這次真的好珍惜這些溫暖時光 💛

從沒想過我的人生會和展會扯上關係，但我真的好喜歡這樣的生活 😊 每個人都好親切又熱情！
